Trip Overview

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day skiing adventure in the heart of the Andes, exploring some of Chile's most renowned ski resorts. Begin your journey in Santiago, the vibrant capital city, before transferring to the legendary slopes of Portillo. After 3 days of skiing in Portillo, you'll head to the Tres Valles region to check out the slopes of La Parva, Farrelones, and Valle Nevado. Our trips operate by skiing the resorts when the skiing is good, and heading out for backcountry tours when we are looking for good snow, or trying to get up high for great views! For those seeking a unique experience, an optional day of snowcat skiing at Ski Arpa is available, the only purely snowcat ski company in S America.

    • Arrive in Santiago and meet your guide.

    • Transfer to your hotel in Santiago for a welcome dinner and trip briefing.

    • Overnight in Santiago.

    • If all guests arrive early enough and the weather is suitable, we may suggest an itinerary that transits right to our mountain lodging

    • Enjoy a scenic drive to Portillo, nestled in the Andes.

    • Check into the iconic Portillo Hotel.

    • Afternoon ski exploring the resort.

    • Overnight in Portillo.

    • Spend the next days skiing the legendary slopes of Portillo.

    • Enjoy world-class terrain with breathtaking views.

    • Relax in the hotel’s amenities, including the outdoor pool and fitness center.

    • Day 4 we will likely suggest skiing Portillo before transiting to our next location, but will decide recommendations based on conditions

    • Depart from Portillo and head to the Tres Valles region.

    • Check into our lodging in the La Parva area.

    • Explore the local village and relax after the transfer.

    • Overnight in Tres Valles.

    • Spend the next 3-4 days skiing across the interconnected resorts of La Parva, Farrelones, Valle Nevado, and El Colorado.

    • Experience diverse terrain, from groomed runs to backcountry lift accessed skiing. Head out on ski tours between the resorts, and stand on summits to get the best views of the Andes

    • Overnight in Tres Valles.

    • For an additional cost, embark on a thrilling day of cat skiing at Arpa.

    • Experience South Americas only purely backcountry Snowcat operation.

    • Attempt to catch a glimpse of Aconcagua, the highest peak outside the Himalaya that is visible from locations at Arpa

    • Return to your hotel in either Los Andes for the evening, or take a long transfer with less traffic to our next destination.

    • After a final morning of skiing, transfer back to Santiago.

    • Amount of skiing will depend on the order of operations of skiing the resorts, and the time of the groups flights
